Trey & Katelyn | October 1, 2016

Venue: Oak Knoll Ranch Venue in Springtown, Texas
Videography: Neely Films
Hair/Makeup: Stacy Modisette

How Beth met Katelyn & Trey: Growing up I rode the school bus from first grade through probably 10th grade. Trey was one of the older boys on the bus who would make sure us younger kids felt safe. Thank God for that because my sister and I hated riding the bus. We grew up in the same neighborhood. I didn't get to meet Katelyn until they both were engaged but am I glad I met her! They are the sweetest, down-to-earth people. I'm so glad I had the honor of working with them on their special day.

Check out their big day below!!

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?

Katelyn: That's so hard! Probably praying with Trey before the ceremony. The whole thing was a dream!

Trey: Katelyn walking down the aisle.

What advice do you have for couples on their day?

Katelyn: You get to have all your favorite people in one place at the same time so slow time down as much as you can, take it all in. Don't worry about all the little details that go wrong on the big day, they make for a better story.

Trey: Don't stress. Some things won't go as planned and that's ok. In the end, it's all about you two on your special day.

What advice do you have for a long and happy marriage?

Katelyn: It's never you vs your spouse. You are a team, so when you get to the low moments, remember that. You are made to compliment each other, not always see things the exact same.

Trey: It's not what you take out of the marriage, it's what you put into it.

What was your favorite marriage advice?

Katelyn: Never stop being friends.

Trey: Put your pride to the side.

How will you celebrate your one year anniversary?

Katelyn: I'm hoping to go back to Holbox, but I also wouldn't mind going on a bow hunt 😊

Trey: You'll have to talk to my wife.

Anything else you would like to throw out there?

Trey: Marriage is all about love and respect. As long as you try to show each other that daily, life will be great!

Katelyn: Take a look at these pictures and realize how talented Beth is. She took Trey and I and captured us in the light of our true character. It's unbelievable. Thanks Beth for the memories!
